7-Eleven robbed at knife point in Pa Khlok
PHUKET: Police are trying to trace a man who used a knife point to rob a 7-Eleven store in Pa Khlok earlier this morning (October 25).
Thalang police were called to the scene at 3am, a 7-Eleven store at Baan Para, Moo 4, Pa Khlok.
The man entered the store wearing blue jeans and a gray long-sleeved jacket and a black full-face helmet that covered his face, the police officer said.
The approximately 165 cm tall man threatened the employee with a knife to hand out cash from the till. The employee obliges.
The robber made off with about 4,200 baht in cash, the clerk said.
The robber was last seen speeding away on a motorbike towards Baan Laem Sai, the clerk confirmed.
The employee was unable to identify the make and model of the motorcycle due to the darkness, police reported.
Thalang Police Chief Colonel Pisit Chuenphet has assigned Thalang Police Deputy Chief Investigators Lt-Colonel Suchart Luecha to track down the robber.
Lt. Col. Suchart has experience in the area, having previously served as Pa Khlok subdistrict patrol chief, a Thalang police report said.
Police are now checking surveillance cameras from the store and other cameras in the area to track down the robber and bring him to justice, Thalang Police said.
