Alanna Lynch will serve as Chief Operating Officer from January 2022

Lynch will be instrumental in accelerating operational development, innovation and growth in this increasingly fast-moving market.

Alanna is a strategic and innovative leader with extensive experience in promoting organizational efficiency, relevance and growth for the companies she leads and the brands she has built. “I joined the Artnet team primarily because I believe in the mission to make buying, selling and collecting art as easy and efficient as possible. Alanna was previously CEO of The New York Times Experience Agency, which supported brands such as BMW, Nike and Hermes in developing and creating immersive experiences at the interface of visual arts, creative technology and social storytelling. In this role, she led the successful merger of two New York Times companies, implemented a new corporate strategy and operational plan, and launched a range of new advertising products.
In front The New York Times, Alanna was the managing director of chandelier, a New York-based creative agency known for working with luxury brands like Cartier, retail giants like Target, and innovators like Virgin. During her time at Chandelier, she worked with C-level clients to establish and execute their branding strategy, overseeing all company operations and employees, and leading the company’s expansion into Los Angeles and Hong Kong.
