Montana adds 338 new cases, 17 more deaths
As of Thursday morning, Montana has confirmed 191,925 positive COVID-19 cases. Montana’s COVID-19 Case Tracking Map shows 338 new confirmed cases. There are currently 3,795 active cases in the state.
According to the Montana Department of Health and Human Services, 1,230,187 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been given and 520,643 Montanans are fully immunized.
In Missoula, 168,627 doses have been administered and 71,021 people are fully vaccinated. 61% of Missoula’s eligible population is fully vaccinated, which remains the second most common in the state after Deer Lodge. For the latest Missoula City-County Health Department case numbers, click here.
According to state statistics, 185,391 Montana residents have recovered from COVID-19 and 208 people are currently being hospitalized.
The number of tests increased by 5,025 in the last 24-hour reporting period to a new cumulative nationwide total of 2,179,612.
The death toll related to COVID-19 rose from 2,722 on Wednesday to 2,739 on Thursday, according to state health officials.
