Young Greek designers shine in New Generations Fashion Lines Show

Young Greek university graduates had a chance to shine at the recent New Generations Fashion Lines (NGFL) show, held earlier this month at the Peace & Friendship Stadium in Piraeus, Greece.

In his 9th^th Spring 2022 Edition, New Generations Fashion Lines (NGFL) was a tribute to fashion and art in an industrial area by the sea. Clothing, jewelry, accessories and every kind of artistic trends were presented at the 9th edition of this fashion and art event, held under the auspices of the Municipality of Piraeus and in collaboration with the Piraeus Trade Association and the Greek-Italian Chamber of Commerce.

All efforts have been combined to give this special spring event the opportunity to expand its network and reach a newer market, the Piraeus market.

All efforts – in particular of the Greek-Italian Chamber of Commerce – have been united to give a boost to fashion school graduates and to meet potential clients from Italy with a view to internationalizing the event in the near future.

Along with the first Graduate Fashion, European Reliance, as the main sponsor for public schools, presented – for the first time in Greece – the excellent work of the six graduates from fashion schools in Greece and Cyprus.

On the second day of the event, guests enjoyed the catwalks of six promising new designers with remarkable collection lines presented to both the public and attending shopkeepers.

The creative director of all catwalks was the well-known fashion expert Michalis Pantos.

In combination with all these fashion ramps, jewelry and accessories had to make a statement at 40 different installations with new trends and collections.

A visual exhibition of 50 artists was also presented under the title “Art Unites” under the direction of curator Christos Petrides.

This special event combines fashion with art that is in the context of the NGFL.
